Baby bluebirds have arrived at my feeder!

They belong to a pair of Eastern Bluebirds that have been visiting my sunflower chip feeder throughout the winter.

The fledglings are probably only about a month old, but they are already around the same size as the parents.

The parents will continue feeding them for a few more days before they learn to feed themselves.
I've only seen two fledglings at any given time, though bluebirds often have 4 or 5 babies in a brood.
The fledgling at the top is probably a male as it has more blue in its wings, while the one on the bottom is likely a female.

Here a fledgling is working those wings!
Those babies are hungry - I've been seeing the bluebirds at my sunflower chip feeder several times a day.
Before long, the fledglings will be able to survive by themselves. Bluebirds may have 2 or 3 broods in one season, so hopefully we shall see this again later in the summer!
